Hi all,
This month it became law in Canada to have a holding tank in all waters. As a result, I have to install a holding tank ASAP.
I'm looking for advice - so I will learn from others - and get it right the first time. Anything you can share - diagrams, photos, commentary would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I've got one on my rasmus. Not very big but it does a job for short stays in marinas and when passing through canals.
It located under the port hand bunk through the bulkhead from the heads. Its a standard unit though i don't know what make as there are no markings on it. The vent is led forward and up into the anchor locker via a small tube so any fume vent overboard. Changeover valve is located to the right of the heads. I use a manual bilge pump located next to the holding tank for pump out. That bit is not ideal as i have to lift the bunk to access but its as least its hidden and doesn't ruin the woodwork.
I can photograph if this isn't enough to get you started.

Hey Dave,
The boat's PO installed the tank (forward port under vberth) and hoses with vents and the loops to prevent syphoning. He installed a hand operated bilge pump too. I can shoot some photos and also have the instruction sheet from the manufacturer.
I'll get back with the info as soon as I can.

Photos would be appreciated!
